The family of Cornelis ‘Casey’ Bokslag are offering a $5,000 reward for any info that can help bring him home.

Casey went missing on June 6, and his vehicle was discovered in Castle Rock, near the Wyoming border, with the license plates removed. Casey has not been seen or heard from since.

“We're feeling pretty desperate in finding our son," said Robert Bokslag, Casey's father.

Police tracked a phone conversation the day Casey went missing and found out he pulled out cash from a bank, but without a warrant the bank hasn't handed over the video yet.

Police confirmed they processed the car and found no workable leads. They didn’t find hair, blood or fingerprints, not even Casey's prints.

“The police literally said the car was wiped clean so it's all very strangethere's not a single lead from a private person, from police, from anything that shows that Casey's still alive,” Robert said.

Robert claims Casey had always been close to the family and believes a crime was committed and someone attempted to cover their tracks.

However, South Salt Lake police did acknowledge that the circumstances surrounding the disappearance were suspicious and that they were still actively investigating the case.

The family said they will keep posting flyers in the hopes that someone would come forward with new information.

“I can't fathom what happened,” Robert said.

The South Salt Lake Police Department said they have listed Casey in the NCIC which is a database for missing people.

If you have any information that can help police, you can call them at 891-412-3664 and reference case number LK2022-18693.

The family has set up a website with more information about Casey and pictures.
