Central Booking lockdown lifted after 'potential security risk'
The Central Booking and Intake Center in downtown Baltimore was placed on a brief lockdown on Monday afternoon.Officials with the Department Public Safety and Correctional Services said staff monitoring facility video and saw what they said was a potential security risk.They locked down the area and brought in special units to investigate.Officials said they transferred three detainees to a different facility while the investigation is underway.They said they will work with the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office on possible criminal charges.The lockdown was eventually lifted.
