Former Perry state champion Luke Laubacher on national stage at USATF U20 Championships

Perry's Luke Laubacher competes in the long jump at the 2021 OHSAA State Track and Field Championships. Laubacher won the Division I state titie.

Former Perry High School state champion Luke Laubacher competed at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, over the weekend.

A sophomore out of Youngstown State, Laubacher cleared 6.86 meters to finish ninth in the long jump and came in 14th in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.29 seconds.

Laubacher won the 110 hurdles and finished fifth in the long jump at this year's Horizon League Championships. He won a Division I state title in the long jump as a senior at Perry.
