Traffic collision detectives are investigating after a driver fled the scene of a fatal collision with a motorcyclist on Aurora Avenue early Monday.
Around 1:30 AM, the motorcyclist and the driver of a black Dodge Charger were southbound on Aurora. The Charger driver turned in front of the motorcyclist, causing the motorcyclist to crash.
The Charger driver then fled the scene.
Officers and medics attempted to provide aid to the 47-year-old motorcyclist, but he died at the scene.
Police later located and seized the involved Charger but are still seeking its driver.
