PENSACOLA, Fla, -- Pensacola real estate attorney, developer, and former politician, Jim Reeves, was named a Pensacola State College Foundation Fellow Monday morning.

A Foundation Fellow is an honorary title given to people who make significant financial contributions to the college.

"It was exciting to me to raise the funds, that we've raised over the years, because I know they are going to absolutely go to good use," Reeves said.

Reeves has given $260,000 to the college and now has an endowed scholarship in his name.

There have only been nine people or families named Foundation Fellows since the college started in 1948.
