Town of Fayetteville gears up for annual 4th of July Heritage Festival

Beckley, WV (WOAY) -The Raleigh County Prevention Coalition (RCPC) will host the Another Chance Art Market fundraising event at the Beckley Intermodal Gateway on Saturday, August 6, from 1-6 pm. The fundraiser aims to raise awareness about substance abuse prevention and recovery. The event is free to the public and open to all ages.

Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Dolly Parton will appear at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences in Charleston on Tuesday. The country music star will be coming to West Virginia to celebrate the state’s participation in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The event is not open to the public. However, it will be broadcast on West Virginia Public Broadcasting television stations and social media channels at 5:30 pm.

Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) – HospiceCare has announced they will resume hosting weekly grief support groups on September 6, following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
