This is the right coach for Crusher Hockey at this time.”
McQuillan spent over 30 seasons as the head hockey coach for Westmont, reaching the playoffs 28 times during his tenure.
“I’m honored to be selected as the person best suited to lead this program.” said McQuillan. “You just never know what turns life may take. This opportunity presents a new challenge with new people in a new environment. We are excited to get started. October can’t come soon enough.”
McQuillan's longtime assistant coach Don Lamison will also join him at Bishop McCort.
The Crushers are the defending Laurel Mountain Hockey League champions and were searching for a new head coach following the retirement of John Bradley.
