New York Yankees infielder Gleyber Torres (ankle) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Paul Blackburn and the Oakland Athletics.
Torres is considered day-to-day after exiting Sunday's contest with an ankle injury. DJ LeMahieu is on second base and Josh Donaldson is covering the hot corner Monday. Giancarlo Stanton is at designated hitter while Joey Gallo replaces Torres in the lineup to play right field and hit ninth.
