Man, dog killed by car in Robeson County hit-and-run: Troopers

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) —
A man has been struck and killed by a car in a hit-and-run this past Saturday on Bee Gee Road about one mile from Lumberton, according to First Sgt. S.B. Lewis with North Carolina Highway Patrol.

Lewis said the victim is 42-year-old Montrea Howell of Lumberton.
He added a dog killed in the incident is believed to be that of Howell’s.
At this time, there are no arrests.
