Local woman missing since Friday

COLCHESTER/MACOMB —  Brandy Brewer, a local woman in her 40s, has been reported missing according to the Colchester Police Department.

According to a June 25, 8:46 a.m. post on the Colchester IL Police Department Facebook page, Brewer, who has red hair, was last seen at her mother's house on Friday, June 24 at 11:30 a.m. She was on foot, and left behind her wallet, phone and medication.

She is believed to be in the Colchester or Macomb area. She was last seen wearing a short sleeved red shirt with the number 75 or 77 on the back, blue jeans and black shoes. The page indicated that a search for her is ongoing, and directed anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 911.

A dispatcher who responded to a call confirmed that the McDonough County Sheriffs Office is assisting in the search, but did not have further details.
