CARLISLE, Ind (WTWO/WAWV) — Drivers who travel through the Carlisle area of Sullivan County will need to be on the lookout for an upcoming closure.
INDOT announced that a portion of State Road 58 just west of Carlisle will be closed due to bridge repair work.
Beginning Tuesday, July 5, crews will begin applying a polymeric overlay to a bridge located on SR 58 between US 41 and County Road 100 West.
The closure is expected to last the entire month of July depending on weather conditions. INDOT’s official detour route is US 41 North to State Road 154 West to State Road 63 South to SR 58 East and the reverse.
INDOT also notes that local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
