Augusta man dies in motorcycle wreck near Blythe

The Richmond County Coroner's Office is investigating a motorcycle wreck that killed an Augusta man Sunday.
Samuel Stevenson, 74, was traveling north in the 3400 block of Deans Bridge Road near Blythe when he lost control around 7:34 p.m., according to a statement from Coroner Mark Bowen.

Stevenson was pronounced dead at the scene at 9 p.m. and an autopsy is scheduled, the statement said.
