The jury trial for Davis, of Kalamazoo, started June 22, before Judge Paul Bridenstine.

Davis had originally taken a plea agreement in exchange for agreeing to testify in McMillon’s trial. Davis refused to testify during the jury trial in March, and his agreement was revoked.
Tonesha Taylor-McMillon, the sister of McMillon and Davis, also accepted a plea agreement. She pleaded guilty to one felony count of accessory after the fact to a felony in exchange for testifying at her brothers’ trials. She testified in McMillon’s trial and is scheduled to testify during Davis’ trial.
Davis is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 5. He was denied bond and is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
