|Gregg County commissioners approved a budget transfer of $150,000 for medical expenses at the county jail. This comes after an inmate in their custody received expensive medical treatment, as well as rising medical costs. “This is kind of a unique thing because we are doing it a little bit earlier than we normally would do because of unexpected medical costs in the jail,” Chief Deputy Craig Harrington said.
