Youngstown police are searching for two men they believe were involved in a shootout in an East Side park that left one person injured. 

The shooting happened at John White Park on Kimmel Street on June 16 shortly before 6 p.m.

One of the men police believe were involved, Michael Walker, 32, has a warrant out for his arrest on charges of felonious assault and having weapons under disability. Police say he's considered armed and dangerous .

 

 

The other person, who can be seen in surveillance video wearing black shorts and no shirt, has still not been identified. 

 

Video from another angle shows a crowd of people, including several who appear to be young children, scatter as the gunshot victim stumbles toward a pavilion.

 

 

Youngstown police are asking anyone who knows either where Walker may be hiding or who the second shooter may be to contactthe US Marshals Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-492-6833 or Youngstown Crimestoppers at 330-746-CLUE.   Tips are anonymous and police say there is a possible reward. 

This is at least the third shooting inside a city park this year. A 16-year-old was gunned down in Homestead Park in early June and the body of a man who'd been shot several times was found in Crandall Park on June 25.
