Oklahoma City officers are remembering the life of a trailblazer of their police force.

Jean Latham, one of the first five women to be commissioned as a police officer in 1955, died at the age of 94.

She served in the department for nearly 30 years.

Latham was also inducted into the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Museum and Hall of Fame.
