John David Howard, age 68, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Fountain Run, KY.
John was born on December 9, 1953, in Glasgow, KY, a son of the late Leroy and Martha (Hughes) Howard.
John graduated from Western Kentucky University. He spent his life working on his farm. In 1965, he was saved at the foot of his bed. John was a member of Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church before joining Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church.
On July 29, 1978, he married Kathy (Wood) Howard, who survives, of Fountain Run, KY.
Other than his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Candice Wilson, and husband, Eddie, of Scottsville, KY and Chelsea Howard of Fountain Run, KY; one granddaughter, Abigail Wilson; four brothers, Michael Howard and wife, Gayle, of Auburn, KY; Steve Howard, and wife, Karen, of Scottsville, KY; Kirk Howard, and wife, Cindy, of Fountain Run, KY; and William Howard, and wife, Stacy, of Alvaton, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Fountain Run Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Wilson officiating, burial will follow in the Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 3 to 8 p.m. at the Fountain Run Funeral Home and after 8 a.m. Wednesday till service time at 2 p.m.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Dawn Howard.
In lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory are suggested to Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
