HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) -- A woman was shot in a road rage incident that began in Unadilla and ended in Perry, police said.
According to Perry Police Captain Health Dykes, police were called to Perry Hospital around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
Police said the 28-year-old female victim, who's from Warner Robins, had been shot in her left shoulder.
The victim said she and her 29-year-old boyfriend, of Hawkinsville, were heading back from Mexico Beach with a 5-month-old infant in the vehicle with them when the incident started.
The victim told police that someone driving a newer-model Kia started tailing their vehicle and flashing their lights at them.
The victims got off I-75 at exit 135, just before the welcome center.
The suspects, identified as two men, shot nine times into the victims' vehicle.
