CLEVELAND, Ohio – M Cellars has scheduled a summer-inspired four-course wine and food pairing dinner Friday, July 8, featuring creations from chef Zachary Bond of The Spot on Lakeshore of Mentor.
Rosé reception will be at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. All the wines that will be served are estate-bottled.
Menu
Amuse-Bouche: Crostini bar - olive tapenade, Heirloom tomato bruschetta, summer eggplant caponata. Wine: 2021 Dry Rosé.
First: Bay scallop ceviche with mango and grilled pineapple salsa, avocado mousse and fresno chile oil. Wine: 2020 Rkatsiteli.
Second: Strawberries and Feta cheese with bibb lettuce, roasted cashews, chive and Champagne vinaigrette. Wine: 2019 Brut Rosé.
Third: Grilled venison with asiago farro, hen of the woods, Banyuls-soaked blackberries, French pearl onions and gaufrettes. Wine: 2019 Pinot Noir Reserve.
Fourth: Coconut lime cake with layers of coconut, key lime gelee and vanilla glaze. Wine: 2021 Vkat (Vidal Blanc and Rkatsiteli).
