Comedy Festival Recap
The 30th Annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival took place last week through the weekend, but we are still buzzing about it. The National Comedy Center presented the festival in honor of Lucille Ball’s vision of her hometown, to be a destination to celebrate comedy, and it did just that. The line-up of this year’s festival was star-studded, and they did not disappoint. From Margaret Cho to Jeff Foxworthy, Legends of SNL Rob Schneider, David Spade, and Kevin Nealon, to the most hilarious up and coming comedians in the industry, the festival did not deprive anyone of laughter. And for the Lucille Ball fans, worry not, the festival incapsulated her humor and honored her legacy through various Lucy inspired events- which was a perfect way to celebrate her 111th birthday.
