MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) —
A sinkhole was reported Monday morning in Mason County.

Dispatchers said a garbage truck was partially stuck in a sinkhole about 9:30 a.m. in Mason.
The sinkhole was reported near the BP gas station on 2nd Street, Mason County dispatchers said. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
Crews on scene said the sinkhole is about 5 feet by 10 feet wide and approximately 25 feet deep.
