The actor admitted that both he and his family are “big” Jeopardy! fans. Long asked Bialik if she heard the outcry that fans prefer Jennings over her. Bialik heard both sides of the debate. Long noted how people are highly critical of celebrities since they don’t know them.

“Isn’t that wild — well, it’s the only profession that I can think of — where people will tell you deeply insulting things but with a big smile?” Long said.

“[People will tell you] exactly how they feel,” Mayim Bialik added. “Like, ‘I saw you in a magazine. I was confused. You look pretty.’ I get that a lot.”

Long and Bialik shared their negative experiences with people who tell them that they look better in person. They don’t know how to take that criticism. This comes amid the ongoing backlash Bialik continues to get on Jeopardy! Since that episode aired, Bialik has gotten a lot of support from her fans.
