La Grande Water Meters changing this week

LA GRANDE – (Press Release from City of La Grande) The City of La Grande will be continuing the City Water Meter Change Program. The Public Works Department will be installing high-tech meters to all homes and businesses within the La Grande city limits.
These new meters will allow the City to monitor water usage and to alert property owners about possible leaks. There will be a disturbance in your homes water for about 10-15 minutes while crews change out your water meter.
Water meter changes are expected to take place Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. until ALL meters have been changed. Thank you for your patience, as we work through this process. If you have any questions, please call 541-962-1325.
