A gunshot victim was airlifted to a Spokane hospital after he was found by Sheriff's Deputies in Othello Sunday night.
According to the Adams County Sheriff's Office, they received a weapon offense call at about 8:26 p.m. Sunday. The caller told dispatchers someone was shooting in the 2200 Block of W Charla Rd in Othello, and a person was on the ground, possibly with a gunshot wound.
Officials say Deputies and EMS arrived at the scene and found a male victim who had been shot. He was first transported to a local hospital, before later being airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane for further treatment.
The Sheriff's Office reports they have yet to be updated with the extent of the victim's injuries.
Investigators processed the scene where the shooting happened for evidence, and more information is expected to be released as they learn more.
