Lincoln University Man Arrested After Crowbar Attack

OXFORD, PA — A resident of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania has been arrested by the Oxford Borough Police after a woman was violently assaulted with a crowbar.

Jorge Vega Camacho, age 31, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Harassment.

Authorities state that on June 26, 2022, at 2:11 pm, the Oxford Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of North Third Street. The reporting party stated that the suspect, identified as Jorge Vega Camacho, had struck the female victim with a crowbar. The victim provided a statement that Camacho had struck her in the back with a crowbar and punched her repeatedly while threatening her.

Police located Camacho a short time later and he was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported by Constables to Chester County Prison to await arraignment.
