Friday, June 24th

1:47am: Kyle Hack reported seeing three teenage juveniles walking in the area of South Elm and Madison Street. An Officer located the juveniles, spoke to them about the city curfew, and released them to an adult family member.

4:18am: Megan Ball reported a stray dog in the 100 block of West Madison Street. An Officer subsequently took the dog to PAWS.

4:57am: Robert Lindahl reported a subject who appeared to be passed out on the road, near Oak and West South Street. An Officer responded to the area and subsequently arrested Michael Olson, of Jefferson, for Disorderly Conduct.

9:18am: An unknown caller reported seeing a child in a vehicle, who was not secured in a seatbelt, near South Elm and West Madison Street. An Officer did not locate the vehicle.

12:46pm: An Officer was called to the 300 block of South High Street in regards to a missing child. The child was found, safe, a short time later.

5:13pm: Samantha Gliem reported a dog running at large in the 400 block of North Elm Street. An Officer checked the area but did not locate the dog.

5:39pm: Richard Norton came to the Law Enforcement Center to request assistance in locating a missing juvenile. A short time later an Officer located the juvenile at a residence in Jefferson.

6:58pm: Karyn Parker reported a possible violation of a no contact order. An Officer is investigating.

8:12pm: An anonymous caller reported seeing suspicious activity at a residence in the 300 block of North Oak Street. An Officer checked the area, but did not see anything out of the ordinary.

9:27pm: An employee at Casey’s General store reported a possible intoxicated driver. An Officer responded, but was unable to locate the vehicle.

9:26pm: An Officer was advised of a smoke alarm activation at 771 Wild Rose Lane. Prior to arriving, an officer was advised that it was a false alarm.

10:55pm: Kristina Green reported a fight near West Monroe and High Street. An Officer and a Greene County Deputy responded and located the involved subjects. Titus Brown, of Jefferson, was subsequently arrested for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Interference with Official Acts.

Saturday, June 25th

2:26am: A traffic stop at Highway 30 and Mulberry resulted in Jason Sheldahl being issued a citation for “Operating No Registered Vehicle”.

3:02pm: Oly’s Corner reported an accidental gas drive off. The subject was later contacted and returned to pay for the gas.

4:06pm: Ty Hall reported individuals throwing fireworks from a vehicle near Lincoln Way and Elm Street. An Officer looked for the vehicle but did not locate it.

5:28pm: A Rec Center employee asked for assistance with a juvenile who would not comply with facility rules. An Officer responded, spoke to the juvenile, and advised him to leave for the day.

5:32pm: Bradley Beadle spoke to an Officer in regards to a civil situation. The Officer documented the situation for future reference.

7:40pm: A traffic stop and Elm and Clark Street resulted in Jose Juan Andrade, of Jefferson, being issued a citation for “Fail to Have Valid License”.

8:40pm: Ron Hager reported a subject who was harassing people near Lincoln Way and Vine Street. An Officer arrived and subsequently arrested Anthony Kies, of Carroll, for Disorderly Conduct and Interference with Official Acts.

8:42pm: An anonymous caller reported possible suspicious activity in the 1100 block of McDuffie Drive. An Officer checked the area but did not see anything out of the ordinary.

10:19pm: An anonymous caller reported fireworks being lit in the 400 block of East Washington Street. An Officer located the subjects and advised them of the city ordinance.

10:22pm: Alex Roberts reported a dog running at large in the 800 block of West State Street. An Officer located the dog and took it to PAWS.

Monday, June 26th

2:28am: A Traffic Stop at Elm and State Streets resulted in Shannon Kirk of Fort Dodge being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License and Operation without Registration.”

6:44am: A subject advised the air had been let out of their vehicle tires, while parked in the 700 Block of Pinet Place. The officer has no suspects.

9:00am: Todd Muir requested assistance from an officer in completing a Civil Property Exchange. The officer assisted in the matter.

10:00am: A caller advised of a possible Suicidal Subject in Grand Junction. The information was passed to the Sheriff’s Office.

10:30am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of South Grimmell Road.

10:35am: A caller reported Suspicious Activity in the 200 Block of North Oak Street. The officer checked the area.

2:02pm: Eric Chrystal reported a friend’s bike was missing from 705 West Sunset Road. The officer advised Chrystal to have the owner report the possible crime.

9:13pm: A subject reported a juvenile male, who appeared to be on something, walking around in the 1200 Block of South Elm Street. The officer and a deputy did not locate the reported subject.

9:34pm: Casey’s reported a male, who was loitering near the business at 508 North Elm Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was using the Wi-Fi while his clothing was finishing up at the nearby laundromat.
