A man was found shot to death inside his vehicle in Harvey Sunday afternoon and now the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
“At around 4:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to a report of gunshots in the 900 block of Manhattan Blvd. They located a male victim inside a vehicle near the intersection of Manhattan Blvd. and 8th St. The victim was suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene,” said JPSO spokesperson Captain Jason Rivarde.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin. There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
