Three children are dead following a horrific incident in Georgia.
A 40-year-old mother allegedly set her house on fire Friday night in Paulding County while trying to stab her seven children to death.
Willie Hayes says it was about 9:20 p.m. Friday when investigators showed up to this home on Woodwind Drive in Rockmart.

A neighbor called 911 and told police. A woman was inside allegedly attacking and stabbing her children.
All while the house was on fire.
"They bring kids out dead, and she still alive unhurt .. Hiding in the house," Hayes said.
Investigators say they identified the children's mother as 40-year old Darlene Brister and took her into custody. She faces a number of charges, including malice murder.
The deceased children have been identified as 5 years old, 3 years old and 9 months old.
Neighbors are in disbelief and say Brister was quiet.
She moved to the area about five years ago.
"It's sad," Hayes said. "It's real sad. Why would someone do that to some children?"
Police say one child survived by jumping out a window and was released from the hospital with minor injuries.
