ST. LOUIS – The Florissant Police Department reported that three people were killed in a crash Monday at around 2:20 am.
Police said four total people were in the vehicle and the lone survivor is now in the hospital.
When they arrived on the scene of the 100 block of New Florissant Road, they saw the vehicle collided with a tree and caught fire. The entire vehicle was engulfed in flames. Officers’ attempts at life-saving measures were unsuccessful.
Florissant Road was momentarily closed between Washington and St. Anthony until it was reopened around 8:30 a.m. Drivers were instructed to detour around the area. Police are still investigating the crash.
