Fire destroys home on San Antonio’s Northeast side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A family on San Antonio’s Northeast side have to find a new place to live after their home was destroyed by a fire Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 10200 block of Grand Meadow Drive at around 5:45 P.M.

Flames were coming from the ceiling and even though they were able to extinguish the fire, there is so much damage that the home has been declared a total loss.

No injuries were reported and crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.

The cause is still under investigation.
