The Cherryville Post 100 senior baseball team returns to the field tonight after a six-day break.

Cherryville will play host to Caldwell County in what will begin a stretch of 10 games in nine days.

Post 100 (11-6, 7-0) is scheduled to host Cleveland County on Thursday evening before the North/South Challenge comes to Fraley Field for a three-day event.

Then on Monday, Cherryville will host Asheville Post 70 in a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. in Area IV Western Division play, and travel to Henderson County on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. contest.

Post 100 will then close out the regular season on June 29 and 30 with a pair of non-Area IV games with Fuquay-Varina at Campbell University in Buies Creek.

Cherryville will get one day off on July 1, before starting the Area IV playoffs on Saturday, July 2.
