LAYTON, Utah (KUTV) —
A 7-year-old boy has been transported to the hospital via Life Flight after police said a car struck him while riding his bike in Layton.

Police said the crash happened just after 7 p.m. on Sunday in the area of 3700 N 2550 E.
A pizza delivery driver was reportedly traveling westbound on 3700 North when the child biked into the road and was struck.
He was transported to Primary Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
Police said there were initially no clear violations on the part of the delivery driver.
