Nothing works up an appetite quite like a benches-clearing brawl. One Mariners fan wanted to make sure Jesse Winker was covered when he returned to the locker room.

The fan, who goes by Sofieballgame on Twitter, shared her story about how, after the second-inning brawl in Anaheim between the Mariners and Angels that saw eight players and coaches, including Winker, ejected, she ordered him a pizza.

Sofie tweeted out that she had placed an order for a pepperoni pie from Mountain Mike's Pizza, a pizza shop with locations in California, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. Why Mountain Mike's?

"I just picked what looked like a local joint because delivering a Papa John's pizza would have been an insult and Jesse deserves the good stuff," Sofie later responded.

Sofie provided the address for Angel Stadium and included a note to drop it off at "the visitors clubhouse, pizza is for Jesse Winker."

Doordash driver Simranjeet responded that he was on his way with the delivery, and Sofie continued to track his progress as he neared the stadium.

She showed messages that Simranjeet had delivered the pizza despite a busy parking situation and it being busy.

Then, Sofie received a message from Winker himself, thanking her for the pizza.

Baseball Twitter added to the good vibes of the story as fans sent in tips to Simranjeet for his delivery heroics.

There will wind up being a trade of sorts for the pizza. The Mariners later said on Twitter they wanted to send Sofie a Winker jersey.
