A man who escaped from the custody of the Clearfield County Jail nearly a month ago has been recaptured.

Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers said Sunday that Lawrence Township Police Department, with assistance from Clearfield Borough Police, arrested Robert Miller.

Miller and Donald J. White were mowing the grass before walking away from work release on May 30th. Officials say they used a blind spot in the security camera system to get away.

White was captured on June 17th. The county has looked at ways to increase security to prevent it from happening again.

Sayers said tips from the community helped in their efforts.
