The Wayne County Sheriff's Office and Georgia State Patrol are searching for the driver who hit a man on a bike, then left him for dead.
The victim, Brandon Rhett Barber, was on a bike ride with his wife and 2-year-old daughter on Northview Drive in Jesup on Friday when he was hit.
The driver of the white truck that hit Barber left him in the middle of the road without calling 911 or rendering aid, according to the victims family. Rhett is reported to be in critical, but stable condition.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police. We're told Georgia State Patrol is handling the investigation into this crash.
