BAY CITY, Mich. - Police are searching for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man in Bay City Sunday.
Officers from the Bay City Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the 1300 block of Columbus Avenue just after 4 p.m. after reports of a person being shot.
Police say the man was shot multiple times.
According to authorities, medical personnel responded and transported the victim to a hospital where he later died.
Police say the victim does not appear to be a resident of Bay City, and it is unclear where he lived at this time.

Two other people that were with the victim at the time of the shooting were unharmed, authorities say.
According to police, the suspect is described as a light-complexioned black man who fled the scene on foot. A light-colored Ford Explorer was also seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
Police say the motive for the shooting is unclear and that the incident remains under investigation.
