SCHEELS is taking faded or frayed American flags for proper disposal on Wednesday, June 29, according to the event Facebook page.

The event will take place on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 17202 Davenport St.

The first 100 people who bring in flags will receive a new 3' x 5' nylon American flag.

There is no limit to the amount of flags that can be dropped off.

The flags will be disposed of properly by the American Legion Post 1.
