Orlando International Airport welcomes new low-fare airline Breeze Airways

ORLANDO, Fla. — A new low-cost airline is adding Orlando to its list of destinations.

Breeze Airways has debuted in Orlando, and is offering daily nonstop flights to and from Charleston, South Carolina.

Orlando is the 20th nonstop destination Breeze offers from Charleston.

“We’re excited to connect our largest base, Charleston, with our newest destination,

Orlando,” said Danny Cox, Breeze’s vice president of guest empowerment and airport operations.

Officials said the tickets from Charleston to Orlando start as low as $39 each way.

“One of our most important goals is increasing access to the most visited region in the nation, and offering our residents a multitude of travel options. This new service to explore the charms of Charleston provides that experience,” said Kevin Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “We are pleased to welcome a brand-new airline like Breeze, which expands opportunities for business and leisure travelers to connect to the many assets Central Florida offers.”

Breeze Airways says it offers “seamless booking, no change or cancellation fees, up to 24 months of reusable flight credit and customized flight features delivered via a sleek and simple app.”
