Clinton County Sheriff’s Office announce the hiring of three Deputy Sheriffs

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the hiring of three (3) Deputy Sheriffs –
Brad Drews, Kennie Sparks and Robyn Carter. The three deputies will be sworn in by Judge Shepherd
on Thursday, June 30,2022 at 9:30am. The ceremony will take place inside the 2nd Floor Courtroom
of the Courthouse. Family, friends and the public are welcome to attend the ceremony.

Deputy Drews comes to the Sheriffs Office with 4 years of law enforcement experience with the
Camanche Police Department and 2 years prior as a Civilian Correctional Office and Reserve Deputy
with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Sparks comes to the Sheriff’s Office with a total of 26 years of law enforcement experience
with the Clinton Police Department (9 years), the Maquoketa Police Department (14 years) and the
Preston Police Department (3 years).

Deputy Carter comes to the Sheriff’s Office with a total of 8 years of law enforcement experience
with the Dewitt Police Department (1year) and the city of Rio Rancho Police Department, New
Mexico (7 years).
