Christian Bale Says He Hasn’t Seen The Batman Yet But Plans on Watching It

During a recent interview with Variety, former Batman actor and Thor: Love and Thunder star Christian Bale discussed Robert Pattinson as the new Dark Knight for The Batman films. According to Bale, he still hasn’t seen The Batman yet, stating the following at the Los Angeles premiere for Love and Thunder:

“I still haven’t seen it. I will see it. Listen mate, it’s amazing how few films I see. Every director I work with, I’ve seen a couple of their films and they’re always looking at me going, ‘Are you kidding?’ I like to really savor films and I don’t watch too many. But I will, I certainly will. Robert is an absolutely wonderful actor. We bumped into each other, talked a little bit about it ahead of time, and I heard wonderful things.”

Christian Bale starred in a trilogy of Batman films for director Christopher Nolan: Batman Begins in 2005, The Dark Knight in 2008, and The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

As previously reported, writer and director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson are slated to return for a planned sequel to the hit 2022 film. Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder, starring Bale, arrives in theaters on July 8.
