Two central Illinois Republicans ate up the endorsement of former President Donald Trump on Saturday.

Near Quincy, Trump threw his support behind Illinois Rep. Mary Miller, who said something that immediately went viral.

“On behalf of all the MAGA patriots in America,” Miller said, “I want to thank you for the historic victory for white life in the Supreme Court yesterday.”

Miller’s campaign said the script said, “right to life.”

Miller is running against Rep. Rodney Davis to represent Illinois’ 15th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

At the event, Trump also endorsed Illinois Sen. Darren Bailey for governor.

“I’ve made a promise to President Trump,” Bailey said. “In 2024, Illinois will roll the red carpet out for him because Illinois will be ready for President Trump.”

The only Illinoisans Trump criticized by name were Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Congressman Adam Kinzinger.
