UPDATE: The two women who escaped a Chattanooga Release Center are captured after being located in South Nashville, according to the Tennessee Department of Correction on Sunday afternoon.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Two inmates are missing after walking away from a correctional release center in Chattanooga.
Ashely Wardlaw, 36, is one of the inmates who the Tennessee Department of Correction says left the Chattanooga Release Center on Saturday. She is in the process of serving a four-year sentence for theft out of Davidson County. The other inmate is 26-year-old Katelyn Standifer who is serving a three-year sentence for theft in Knox County. They were to be released in 2023.
Wardlaw is 5’7” and 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray pants, white shoes, and a shirt with the word “Reebok” on the front. Standifer is 5’9” and 190 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray pants, black shoes, and a black t-shirt.
