Nebraska junior offensive lineman Nouredin Nouili confirmed Saturday he is ineligible for the upcoming college football season.
He tweeted the NCAA informed him he failed a drug test.
Nouili also tweeted this statement saying in part, "I would like to apologize to my family, teammates, coaches and Husker fans for my error in judgment."
Nouili was expected to play a major role on the Husker's offensive line. He started the final seven games last fall.
