Man charged with attempted murder in North Charleston motel shooting, police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) —
North Charleston Police say a suspect was arrested in connection to a motel shooting over the weekend.

Darnell Dwayne Brown, 34, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
The charges stem from a shooting incident at Charleston Heights Motel on Rivers Avenue late on Saturday, June 25.
When officers responded to the scene, they found a 67-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
