GF Fire displaces three people

A fire last night ( Saturday) destroyed a shed and forced three people from a mobile home.

The Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched to 5218 Circle Dr. North shortly before 11:30 p.m. for a report of a structure fire.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find a shed in the back of the property fully involved and that fire had spread to the mobile home.

Crews were able to extinguish the blaze preventing additional damage to the mobile home, but the shed was a total loss. Three people were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The Grand Forks Fire Department responded with five engines, one truck, and one command vehicle with eighteen personnel. There were no injuries to the public or fire department personnel reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
