Deadly North Carolina Shooting Leaves 1 Dead and 1 Critical
After a shooting in North Carolina, one person died and another is being treated for injuries.
After receiving reports of a shooting, police arrived at the 1000 block of West Trade Street, near Frazier Park, shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.
Paramedics pronounced one of the victims dead at the scene. The second victim was transferred to a nearby hospital with a potentially fatal injury.
Police have not revealed any information on a possible suspect as of yet.
The homicide was "totally unrelated" to the Uptown protests that followed the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, according to CMPD.
