NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Storms pushed across Middle TN and South KY this afternoon producing heavy rainfall for some, BUT little if any rain for others.
The storms this evening are south and east of Nashville and pushing south and east. Those areas could still see gusty, damaging winds and heavy rainfall.
The NASCAR race had a one-hour lightning delay after 41 laps, but the race has now been resumed.
The good news is that we expect cooler temperatures and lower humidity to start the upcoming workweek.
Highs on Monday and Tuesday should be in the mid-80s with much lower humidity and a refreshing northeasterly breeze. Lows at night should drop to the low to mid-60s.
Temperatures will return to the 90s this Wednesday.
