FLINT, Mich. - The Flint City Bucks partnered with the disability network to host Inclusion Day Saturday at Atwood Stadium in downtown Flint.
Students in attendance could participate in an inclusive shootout at halftime during tonight's game against the Lansing City F-C.
Saturday was also Dort Financial Center member night.
The event consisted of a fun zone for kids, food, and a 20-minute fireworks show after the game.
Mid-Michigan NOW spoke to Team President, Flint City Bucks, and Flint City AFC, Costa Papista about the event.
"I'm just excited anytime we can do, you know, fireworks and have so many cool things to offer. It's great. Hopefully, we're getting a lot of first-timers to the event tonight. Lot's Dort Financial Members are here. So yeah, can't say enough about it. It's a great event," Papista said.
