Man, 64, pushed onto NYC subway tracks after trying to break up fight

A 64-year-old man was pushed onto the subway tracks in Manhattan as he tried to break up a fight between two others on Saturday, police said.

The incident happened about 2:40 p.m. on the northbound 6 train platform at 125th Street, cops said.

The victim, who was not hit by a train, was taken to Harlem Hospital with a cut to his leg.

Police said a man had been taken into custody and charges were pending.
