Justin Rogers just keeps adding to his list of amazing accolades and Saturday he reeled in a big one.

The Hershey senior, who has signed to compete at Virginia, took the top spot in the pole vault at the USA Track and Field U20 National Championship with a mark of 17-2 3/4. He will next compete in the Junior World Championships in Columbia slated for Aug. 1-6.

Rogers’ performance came on the heels of him winning the New Balance Nationals last weekend at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. He had a winning mark of 16-8 ¾ in that event.

Rogers won a 3A state title in May with a mark of 17-3. That is also a state record.
